| Sunday, December 5th - Day 7 and our first day off. | |||||||||||||
| Now some people on their day off like to take it easy. Not Mr. Rich Nickel. He wants to run 20 miles. Count 'em 20. Now since the lights went our last night fairly late 8:15am came round a bit earlier than anticapated, but he carried forth. Being a true friend I followed along and documented this training run. You can run with Rich by clicking on the photo at the right or by using the link below. It will open in a seperate window. When you done just close the iwndow to return here. | ![]() |

| After the run we had lunch and then Rich, being the lazy fellow he is, decided to take a nap. I went out in search of the ellusive photographs. It now being a beautiful day I headed back over to Mount Washington to try and get a shot at sunset looking down the Presidential peaks to Mt. Washington. While my original destination did not work as I slide behind some other peaks in Crawford Notch, which looked promising on the maps, I was still able to get a few nice views across the valley to the setting sunlight on the mountains. | |||||||||||||
