Today we had the next to last sheets to approve. The first sheet of the day Kevin came out and put it on the board, we could find no corrections to make - no matter how hard we tried! So it was a sheet with no corrections. Wicked cool! |

Now we've noticed that we have yet to talk about some of the finer points about the actual book. Back in September, when we picked the paper stock, we also had to choose things like the silk headers and footers, those gold pieces which hold the pages in the book. We also selected the silk ribbon color. |

| The cover of a hardbound book can be done in a variety of cloth and styles. We chose to do a three piece cloth case binding because it matched the style of a journal. Then you design the type for the foil stamping on the cover and spine. The finished book - without ink weighs in at 4 lbs 13ozs. Any guesses as to what it will weigh after the finished pages with ink are included? |
