Today started off in a whirlwind with a four color press proof followed immediately by a varnish and type press proof. Then it was on to the continuation of the proofing of images with John. Finally we could get a cup of coffee. We finalized the dust jacket and finished up the insert for the limited edition posters. Then another four color proof. So in the end we really had no time to think about shooting any images for the web update. So I decided to walk into the Letterpress room where The Stinehour Press commitment to fine art books and printing started. These are some quick views of what I saw. The old machines, still used for projects which require that look, are in fact, pieces of art in and of themselves. Enjoy. |
